Most recent role was leading First Presbyterian Child Development Center, successfully securing and managing grant funding to support program expansion, infrastructure improvements, and educator compensation. Implemented strategic policies to enhance parent engagement, operational efficiency, and staff retention. Previously founded and operated Genesis Child Development Center and Greater Expectations, developing high-impact educational programs and cultivating strong partnerships with families and the broader community.

Beyond program leadership, actively contributes to the profession through national conference presentations, collaborations with organizations such as the T.E.A.C.H. Early Childhood National Center, and media engagements advocating for early educators' rights and equitable compensation. Serves on professional boards and advisory committees, shaping policies that advance the early childhood workforce.

Holds a Master's in Early Childhood Leadership and Program Administration from UNC Greensboro, a Bachelor's in Early Education and Family Studies from North Carolina A&T State University, and multiple early childhood education credentials. Recognized with prestigious awards, including the Dr. Deborah "Deb" Cassidy Leadership Award and the North Carolina Early Education Coalition Child Care Heroes Advocate Award.
